A Bold Branding Shoot with Wardrobe Stylist Dionnah Arris

Dionnah Arris is an experienced wardrobe stylist with her own boutique in Newport Beach, and the moment I met her at the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, I was instantly drawn to her effervescent personality and magnetic style. Her aesthetic is vibrant, elegant, and full of life—which made her an absolute dream to photograph.

We began Dionnah’s branding session in my Costa Mesa studio, where she brought three bold, expressive looks: a chain-print dress, a colorful floral number, and a pink statement blouse that stole the show. From there, we took the session on location to her boutique, capturing her in her element—styling, smiling, and surrounded by the racks of fashion that reflect her creative genius.

This shoot wasn’t just about great images—it was about capturing the essence of Dionnah’s brand. From polished portraits to candid, real-moment shots in her space, the goal was to give her a range of visuals she can use across her website, marketing materials, and social platforms.

What made this session extra special for me was the creative collaboration—working with another artist in a different medium. Styling and photography go hand in hand, and this shoot reminded me how powerful visuals can be when they reflect someone’s true essence.
